 Post subject: Emergency telephones...

I was walking down the beach yesterday, when I saw a sign that looked quite old.
I went over to it and was amazed by what I saw.

I was quite surprised to find this French one near the top of a zig-zag footpath leading to a viewpoint. I suppose it is technically in the grounds of an autoroute service area but in its position could only be of use to walkers or runaway wheelchairs!

This one on the A4 in West London seems a little out of place as there's houses not very far away.
