Photo of the month - January 2010
Hello all,
A bit late this year. Sorry about that:

With the time constraints, I'll run this for three days for submissions - just after midnight on the 1st Jan and then we'll do a quick turn around to about the 3rd (TBC) for voting.

Ah, Dura Den, a road I drove quite a few times while learning to drive!

To be honest, I voted for a non-snow photo as I am so fed up with the stuff!!

Such a misery Tony!
As a side note, you'll be pleased to know that the issue of revoting has now been resolved. Therefore, choose carefully because you can't change your mind after your casting vote.

I managed to - not that this was my intention, just thought I'd test it - I changed it back to my original vote, coming from Fife, Dura Den seemed the obvious option!Matthew wrote:As a side note, you'll be pleased to know that the issue of revoting has now been resolved. I settled on Dura Don as it's a really nice photo. However, you can still change your vote so whatever was done either didn't work or didn't stick.

Sorry chaps, you're right - you can change your vote.
That's my fault for thinking otherwise.

The poll problem is fixed in the latest version of phpBB. I've tested the upgrade several times, I was just waiting for the festive season to get out of the way first before doing it for real.

Suspected as much. I (wrongly) assumed I'd missed an upgrade because of an additional option (or perhaps one I hadn't noticed before) when setting up the vote. Thanks R.

I've ended up doing the same, because snow-related POTMs generally seem to be of rural scenes, like the current one is - hence me entering an urban scene (to make a change).Brenley Corner wrote:To be honest, I voted for a non-snow photo as I am so fed up with the stuff!!

I still think January is quite an appropriate time for snow, so I voted for Nicholas' picture.

I wish the snow we've currently got was last week - I've just took some really wintry photos!
