Probably a n00b question :P but do you have to be an Active Member to vote in the PotM Poll? I'm asking because I voted in the last one and nobody came to whack me with a stick. :) So, yes or no?

I've trawled my archives and found something that wasn't taken in Scotland, although it's still a bridge (just not a very interesting one).

No, you just have to be a forum member.

Nice to see such a large number of entries this month.

Yes, it will make it tougher to win this month. It's also going to be tough to make a decision as the standard is very high.

[pedant] The train looks awfully like a class 170 not a 158 ;) [/pedant]

Yeah, you're right, I was probably thinking of other photos I had of crossings which did have 158s in them, like this one (at the only AOCR in the country): File:Rosarie level crossing.jpg

The reason I picked a level crossing photo was that I have now visited and photographed every level crossing in Scotland (yes, I am that sad, and no, I'm not planning to do the same for the whole of England and Wales  ) and I was one of my favourite photos, and one of the few I did get with trains in them.

Agh - just a bit too late to post a topical one taken on my way south last night! It will have to wait another month, and I'm hoping it won't be topical by then...

What an amazing choice this month!

My selection (roundabout over the canal) is a minority choice I think, but hey...

I'm quite surprised the fingerpost picture won! I've always held back from submitting fingerpost pics as I thought they would be seen as too "boring" for the POTM.

The photos are uploaded, I just need to edit the files, this will probably be tonight. First real opportunity I've had :)
