I'd have thought the description below my avatar would have made things easier. I think that's why ScottB5411 was looking around St louis. It is not in Illinois.

Everyone was going with E St Louis, IL, rather than St Louis, MO which put me off looking at Kansas City, MO. However, you are quite clearly here at I-435/I-470/Fut I-49/US50/US71

Next one. I'm looking for the road I was on, not the structure in the distance :D

The hedgerow is quite distinctive and is visible on GSV.

About here I think? Penterry Lane, north of Chepstow.

Yes. I guess the recent awayday made the bridge easy to identify.

I recognised it as the Second Severn Bridge when I first saw the photo but I was looking at the wrong country roads. If only I'd looked a few miles further north east. I did find this amusing set up though.

Ooh, that looks nasty...

Taking a rather risky guess, is it the A417 northbound between the A429 junction and the A436 junction?

Down the A40 somewhere south of Ross-on-Wye.

It is the A40 at Whitchurch. This is not normally a hotspot for queues but a lorry had crashed on the downhill stretch into Monmouth causing massive tailbacks. Those in the know should have taken the old S2 which runs parallel.

You're not the only one to call them Kak.

I know where that is! I won't say because I'll let others have a go but, as should be obvious in the pic, it's in Europe ;-)

That's the M4 approaching Brynglas Tunnels, surely?

I know it looks as if it's somewhere foreign but that's all CGI. :)

I've a funny feeling that was taken in Holland. No idea where if I'm right. Or Truvelo's doctoring hat was glued to his head. ;)

I take it you're never been to Holland because the hill in the background is enough to tell anyone that it's NOT Holland! ;-)

I've managed to find the exact location the photo was taken from on Street View so I definitely know there it is. Basically, it's here!

NEXT!

Bugger, I didn't realise there was a hill in the picture. Not only have I made a complete chicken's lunch of my countries I am also fully aware Holland is a more densely populated East Anglia!

<offtopic>That's like the Killerhurtz vs Cerberus fight in Robot Wars where the former "didn't see the pit". </offtopic>
