As a team we shall try to give directions to get to a landmark in each of the European countries. This will include Scotland, England, NI and Wales as separate countries.

Rules - You may not double post - Ferries Do Not Count
You may only give 1 road at a time.
You must state when entering another country on that road.
No Air Travel!

We will start at Edinburgh Castle and I will take you down the Royal Mile to the junction with George IV Bridge and Bank St.

I'll say turn right onto George IV Bridge, up to the National Museum of Scotland (junction with Forest Road/Bristo Place).

If we've entered England, we're presumably heading south on the M6. Shall we exit the M6 at J32 and see where we end up?

the clue was entering England on it - there is no junction, just some slip roads merging (could we say that the M6 TOTSOs here?)

We now have to be on the M55, I suggest until junction 3.

There doesn't exist - the Preston New Road (and the A583) both end before the beach. I suggest taking the Waterloo Road (A5073) from the end of Preston New Road down to the Promanade, given its clear that some people really want to go there.

Right turn onto Promenade (A584), proceed to LANDMARK: BLACKPOOL TOWER. Stand in awe for a few moments then continue north towards Fleetwood on A584 to it's junction with A587.

Aaah the smell of the sea in me nostrils and the sea looking nice and calm, to be sure to be sure. Left turn into Carr Road and down to the junction with the A587.

U-turn on the A585 and back up to Dock Street again (having a good look to our right-hand-side whilst halfway up Dock Street).
