Is there one of these? If not, should there be?

Reading the 'B38' thread this morning, I thought it might be handy for roads authorities and road enthusiasts alike if there was a list of available numbers in each zone.

I see there is a list of numbers that have never been allocated but this would not be as useful as a list which includes those numbers available for reallocation as well.

I think it's because unallocated numbers are too numerous. Give that many of the allocated numbers' articles are so weak, I don't really think we should move onto unallocated numbers as yet.

It's chicken and egg this one - before we could produce a definitive list we would have to finish what already exists!

There are far too many unallocated 4 digit numbers for a list to be effective. Also, given numerous obscure Scottish R10s were found AFTER I wrote the initial list, such a list would be unrealiable.
