Having looked though the maps section on here I now realise there has been a lot of number swapping in the post war rebuilding.

According to the 1956 maps the A38 was routed through the city centre along the Embankment and over Torpoint Ferry (now the A374).

The number A374 was given to what is now the A38 between Treulefoot and St Budeaux and the now B3413 around Crownhill. Which we all know was became the A38 before the Parkway opened!

Does anyone have any ideas when all this swapping happened, so the associated wiki articles can be tidied up?
In fact the more maps I view the more renumbering I uncover.
