Looks like the A2 around Ospringe, southwest of Faversham.

First I must apologise, in my haste yesterday I uploaded a file of an unclassified road, instead of the one I had intended. When I realised my mistake and tried to correct it, Broadband crashed on me. So, here is the correct photo:

It is the same village, and the first photo is looking at the same classified road.
Oh, and none of the above are particularly close.

Is it the A4117 at Cleobury Mortimer in Shropshire? It certainly looks to be in that general part of the country.

Getting Warmer! I think it safe to say that you're still in the wrong county though.

You were in Leeds recently so if these pictures are from the same trip then Shropshire is too far south. The area around Ripon has similar architecture so maybe it's somewhere northeast of Leeds.

No, definitely Midlands. Could be somewhere in Staffordshire like Eccleshall or Abbots Bromley, but doesn't obviously fit either of those.

It's a B road in Cheshire if that helps.

Is it anywhere on the B5470?

I'll be kicking myself over this one, then, but unfortunately I can't access StreetView at work :(

Is it the B5071 at Wybunbury, perhaps?

I have to admit that this village is the only bit of Cheshire I've ever really explored (for reasons some sabristi may be able to guess at), so I hadn't realised that the whole county evidently looks the same.
Anyway, you're still both wrong, although Peter is closer.

Did you manage to work out my surname, or was it just a lucky guess?!

No, I don’t (or didn’t) know your surname, but it was a process of elimination really. Over the years I must have driven along every stretch of B-road in Cheshire apart from a few small urban ones, and the number of villages that are on a B-road, have brick architecture (the B5470 being stone), and are big enough to have the density of development to fit your pictures, are quite limited. The second picture is presumably looking west from the churchyard.

It's definitely not the A82 near Glen Coe, far too flat for that

Maybe it's another B road in Cheshire. By the way, where was the last picture. You never gave the answer.

I'm probably completely wrong but it reminds me from my umpteen trips to rellies in the Trossachs of the A84 between Stirling and Callander (probably the Stirling side of Doune)

Sorry, Peter was right with the previous one - the B5069 taken from the Churchyard in Malpas.
Tim has got the right zone - well that's hardly a big clue for my WAIs now is it? :)

Note to self - find a bit of Glencoe that looks flat.

It looks like parts of Fife's East Neuk area but you've already said it's zone 8 and I only really know zone 8 north of the A85...
