The
A214 Crown Lane near Streatham Common used to be 'shared' between Croydon and Lambeth - in this shot the left side of the road is in LB Croydon, with their silver-painted columns, and the right side is in LB Lambeth with theirs in black.
In the last year or two the whole road was transferred to LB Lambeth, so while the properties on the left are still in Croydon, the entire road was resurfaced by Lambeth and now has their PFI lights, painted black, on both sides. It's a bit of a shame as it's removed this little oddity.
