Yes, that's the one in Seaford. What are the chances of driving 62 miles somewhere for the first time, getting back and two days later finding there was a direction sign there? Pretty slim I think, I wasn't looking for any there, just checking the gallery. I decided to make up for it by going to New Cross yet again as it's a bit of a goldmine and although limited to outside the charging times have been a few times already as each time I do someone points out I'd missed one. But over time a total of five (well not today) emerged, three headrooms and these classics, which neither appear to exist anywhere else in the country, within a single mile of each other. I knew two headrooms for a while and vaguely thought there had been another, but after checking the 10 or so bridges gave up and found the final one had been next to the last I found as it was on a small roundabout. You can't win 'em all but these two were my main objectives as I had neither already (as you'd expect if no others elsewhere) and although every headroom is a different height so all unique till you get a repeat I'll live with one less and not do it again just for that.
Here are the other two:

I have a question for all my fellow anoraks (it's a term of endearment, one I use to refer to myself), although it is the only known pre-Worboys example with an icon inside the triangle, the triangle itself is the usual one (filled centre version) but bigger. To me I'd suspect that as it also has the usual plate below with wording then having a bigger triangle above doesn't matter (although I've never seen a different sign with a bigger one) and the blob inside is just a variation on a theme, a subset rather than new design altogether. It has sharp corners unlike the current types, and minus the blob would just be a standard triangle sign visually, therefore would a blob remove it from the red triangle warning signs or just be a variation? Of course the Department of Transport didn't collect photos and didn't actually have categories besides warning, prohibition and the like, it's only us lot after the event who have the need to classify everything for the records. My opinion is the similarities are far greater than the differences, so my vote is it is a red triangle sign, but unless there is an official diktat will wait for more votes.
