OBEY Lane Signs253 viewsThese signs are on the approach to a tidal flow road just south of Lincoln City Centre. Presumably the yellow signs were demed necessary because of people not obeying the signs?

NSL110 viewsI have seen 60 mph signs being used instead of NSL signs in rural areas and as repeaters but I was surprised to see these two at the end of the 40 mph limit in Corpach today. J--M--B (wikified)

Now we're at the bridge...191 viewsCould it just be possible in the future that the Imperial version of this sign could be pulled down should the legislation about signage change to the metric standard?SuperLez (wikified)

Norbiton Railway Bridge387 viewsThis is the infamous bridge across the A238 at Norbiton. As can be seen by the angle of the train, the bridge crosses on the skew, so overheight vehicles tend to be knocked over rather than stuck. Note the height is signed only in feet and inches - the last two vehicles to get stuck were both foreign. The width limit on the side road is a very recent addition - leaving overheight vehicles with no escape route. And yes, I did catch the train!t1(M) (wikified)
