Crash on M1 Kegworth2224 viewsFour car accident probably caused by surface spray on the M1 between J23a and J24. This view is taken from Ashby Road looking north. The air ambulance is in attendance and this requires both carriageways to be closed.Truvelo (wikified)

Crash on M1 Kegworth1554 viewsLooking south from the same bridge. These people have obviously been stuck here for some time and are wondering who that plonker is on the bridge. The 9 poles on the right are lights for the East Midlands Airport runway. The VMS on the left clearly shows SPRAY SLOW DOWN and this may have been the cause of the crash since it was raining heavily earlier in the day.Truvelo (wikified)

Crash on M1 Kegworth1085 viewsLooking north from the J23a overbridge. The A453 to the left of the picture which runs parallel is also stationary as traffic is using adjacent roads to beat the queue. The vehicle on the opposite carriageway is an ambulance rushing someone to hospital.Truvelo (wikified)
