Mixed pedestrian lights, Harts Corner, Glasnevin Dublin150 viewsThese traffic lights control a gyratory system on the N2 road in Glasnevin, Dublin. The pedestrian lights on the right have 2 aspects, instead of the standard 3 as the other two crossings on the left, because to my surprise it is a standalone pelican totally separate from the other lights which these remain on green to traffic all the time until the demand to cross is called. Signage installed as part of new Damastown-Cruiserath Link Road in Dublin 15181 viewsGlaring error on this one. Mulhuddart is not on a national route, or even a regional route anymore. It should be white of course. The straight ahead destination is questionable under new NRA rules it may be permitted to be all green with no parantheses around N3 as it is not the N3 but only 150m to it. Probably makes more sense to be the way it is alright.murphaph (wikified)

Signage installed as part of new Damastown-Cruiserath Link Road in Dublin 15150 viewsN3 eastbound just after Clonee onslip. The close spacing and private accesses to the left mean this road will likely remain all-purpose when the majority of interurban dual carriageways are upgraded to motorway status.murphaph (wikified)

Signage installed as part of new Damastown-Cruiserath Link Road in Dublin 15190 viewsWhy do they continually refer to Cavan as the northernmost terminus of the N3 when it should be Ballyshannon?! I'm not 100% sure the panel should be all green. The NRA has some new rules about short link roads to National Routes and keeping them all green for simplicity. The N3 is just 150m to the left but that is technically not the N3 and the road doesn't lead inescapibly to the N3 either. Still-much better than what was there before-nothing.murphaph (wikified)
