M42 ATM and Warning Board In Use Junctions 5 and 6 South West175 viewsSouth west view from Friday Lane overbridge Barston mid afternoon today with a HATO vehicle protecting an obstruction/vehicle on the hard shoulder somewhere near the Camera sign on the gantry but beyond it. The hard shoulder lane has a red X whilst Lanes 1 to 3 have the 40 limit flashing. The warning board above displays a red triangle and Accident Slow Down with queueing traffic symbol.

M42 Junctions 5 and 6 ATM set for NSL on Lanes 1 to 3155 viewsSouth west view from Shadowbrook Lane overbridge towards Junction 5 of the M42 of an ATM gantry with hard shoulder closed as a running lane and lanes 1 to 3 all indicated as NSL which indicates it must be just at the close of a peak period.
