A30 Jolly Farmer89 viewsApproaching the rbt with the pub in the middle, where the A325 starts. The A30 was freeflow in both directions in pre M3 days but now naturally, it has lights. Lower and upper left w/bnd and, upper right e/bnd. These cause huge peak hour queues in all directions.SteveA30 (wikified)

A3047 viewsThe point where the trees end and Camberley proper begins. The lights pre-date the M3, one of 3 sets in the old days, a major bottleneck then. Now there are 6, a major bottleneck now.SteveA30 (wikified)

A3045 viewsApproaching another set of pre-M3 lights. It used to have 2 lanes on the opposite side, away from the lights. The road beyond the lights was S4 so, plenty of overtaking chances, within a 40 limit. A major widening obviously happened at some point here. There used to be a footbridge here but, it was removed after the M3 opened. I spent happy hours on it breathing in that heady aroma of diesel and lead. SteveA30 (wikified)

A3044 viewsApproaching Sunningdale Sta. The level crossing caused long tailbacks in (T) days. The short bit of 60's dualling allowed for passing of lorries and caravans, after the gates opened.SteveA30 (wikified)
