MA50 and Z9554 on hockeysticks3483 viewsInstalled on what look like hockeystick columns from the 80s are a Z9554 and an MA50, the latter of which I presume is a casual replacement for another Z9554. I have pictured these lanterns previously, albeit from a little further away on the Eastern Avenue, marked out by the Trafficvisions in the background! Rojojnr (wikified)

Pair of Revo Prefects?1750 viewsThe lantern in the distance with the inline photocell is a Revo Prefect. The one on the swanneck is a bell top version. Notice how the bottom of the swanneck has been taped to contain the spalling.Truvelo (wikified)

Level Crossing 5 - warning sign1537 viewsThis sign, approaching from the west, is all that warns you of the crossing. Compare with signage for Beddingham Level Crossing, on the A27: (See A20-A29 album)

Damaged Triplex HE651483 viewsThis is the standard bollard used in Sandwell and the council is forever replacing them as they have a very short life expectancy due to cars continually crashing into them.Truvelo (wikified)

Level Crossing 4 - Looking East1305 viewsThe pavement on the north side of the street stops at the gate, and pedestrians have to cross over. However, in most cases as this is a quiet residential road leading to an industrial estate they use the road itself rather than crossing over.

Level Crossing 3 - Light on Gate1107 viewsIf this light still works, I'll be amazed, but it is a forerunner to the more conventional level crossing lights we have today. The red circle means STOP.
