A361 Road Trip

Starting in Ilfracombe, Devon, a trip along the mighty A361 and associated roads ending up in Northamptonshire, including an overnight stop in Swindon on the way.

Fri 10th March

Travel variously to Ilfracombe and meet in the evening for a chat over a meal and a few pints.

Sat 11th March

There'll be a few stops en route, for example at hills in the Levels with ruined churches on top; suggestions are gladly accepted. We'll end the day in the industrial estate just by M4 J16, where there are a few hotels.

Sun 12th March

Leave after breakfast for a tour of the more idiosyncratic bits of the Swindon road network, including the Magic Roundabout. After crossing the A419 we'll then rejoin the A361 and head off northwards. The trip will officially end when we get to the A5 in Kilsby.
