The A1125, like the nearby A1109, is extremely elusive.
The Local Transport Plan, linked below, suggests the road includes Grange Road and the Westwood Rail Bridge over the East Coast Main Line. However, all mapping seemingly shows these roads as being unclassified and the number does not appear on current documentation from Peterborough Council. It is therefore likely that the road no longer exists.
The DfT Card Index road lists from c2002 states that the A1125 is a Local route in Peterborough. Unfortunately no more specific information is given, so while this does confirm that the A1125 number was allocated to a route in Peterborough, it does not confirm where.
Until further information is provided, therefore, it is assumed that the road started on the A47 Thorpe Road and headed east along Thorpe Park Road before turning left into Grange Road. It then continued east along Westfield Road to cross the railway and end on the B1380 Westwood Street, which was destroyed when the present A15 Bourges Boulevard was built.
