The A40(M) (now M40) at Cadmore End

The A40(M) number was used as a temporary number for the High Wycombe and Beaconsfield bypasses; whilst the number of the Beaconsfield Bypass was changed to M40 prior to opening, the exact time of the renumbering of the High Wycombe Bypass is unclear.
