The A4033 is a short link road to the east of Dudley.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A4123 at Burnt Tree, immediately to the east of that road's intersection with the A461. Until the 2011 this junction was a roundabout, Burnt Tree Island, and all three roads met there.
The road heads east along the residential Tividale Road, descending to begin with before bending to the right. Now called Dudley Road West the road continues on and passes a pub called The Wonder; the road goes over the Netherton Canal Tunnel at this point. Presently the road goes over the Birmingham Canal before ending at traffic lights on the A457. The angle of the junction here is fairly sharp and eastbound A457 traffic may not turn right into the A4033 although the other movements are possible.
