The A5075, which is occasionally erroneously marked as the A5095 on Google and Ordnance Survey maps, provides a short link between the A591 and A593 along Borrans Road to the south of Ambleside, and so mostly avoiding the confusing one-way systems around the town. The northern end of the road is itself on a one-way loop of the A593; this includes the northern end of Borrans Road, which is two-way.
