The A6058 is a short A-road in the centre of Bolton. It is a shadow of its former self and it is debatable whether, as part of the inner ring road one-way system, it ought to have retained a separate number at all. However, the road does exist on Bolton MBC's list of classified roads.
It starts at the complex junction with the A666 and A579 on the eastern side of Bolton town centre and heads west along the one-way Lower Bridgeman Street. It ends shortly afterwards on the A575 (former A666), where ring road traffic heads north one block before rejoining the A579.
Prior to the building of the inner ring road and extension of the A579, the A6058 continued east along Bradford Street to meet the A673 (originally A58) by Tonge Bridge.
