The A6060 is a link road around the western edge of Rochdale town centre.
It starts at a set of traffic lights on the A58 by Broadfield Park. It heads west along Dane Street and soon crosses the River Roch. Now called Mellor Street, it turns more northerly and crosses the River Spodden twice before ending on the A680 in the Spotland Bridge area of town.
