The B6173 (former A6077) in Clough Dene
In the original 1922 road numbering, A6077 was allocated to Stanley - Hobson, in the north of County Durham.
Starting on the A693 in Stanley the road zigzagged out of town along Barn Hill and Sunny Terrace before going under the railway line. The road then headed northwestwards through Tanfield Lea before reaching Tantobie, where it met the B6311. The road ended a few hundred yards further on at a T-junction on the A692 near Hobson.
The road has since been downgraded to Class II status and is now numbered B6173.
