Route
The A652 is an urban A-road around the Yorkshire town of Dewsbury.
Gomersal - Dewsbury
The road begins by forking left off the A651 just below Birkenshaw roundabout, where the West Yorkshire Fire Service has its HQ, on a non-primary 40MPH S2 and drops downhill passing Oakwell Hall to our left. We then encounter our one and only speed limit change, down to 30. We cross the A643 at a staggered crossroads and then cross the A62 at a six-way traffic-light junction; the other two directions are unclassified.
We continue heading southeast, with a couple more crossroads with local roads before turning in a more southerly direction, passing Batley to our right, before we come to an end as we meet the A638 Dewsbury Ring Road.
