The Ardullie Roundabout lies at the northern end of the Cromarty Bridge and is where the original A9, which ran around the Beauly and Cromarty Firths, joins the present A9 which crosses the bridge. The old road is now numbered as the A862 and runs west along the shore from the roundabout towards Dingwall. The roundabout takes its name from Ardullie Lodge which sits behind the junction and is accessed from the short stretch of the old A9 which leads off the A862 a short distance from the roundabout.
