The B1056 was a short link road in the Essex village of Steeple Bumpstead. It left the B1054 Water Lane by crossing a ford which was removed in 2014 and then headed east along Church Street. After skirting the churchyard the road ended on the B1057 Finchingfield Road.
The road still had Class II status in the 1970s but is now unclassified.
