The B1455 is a short link road in central Hertfordshire. Owing to the road's short length its history is not fully known; the road was unclassified in 1922 and had definitely got its number by the mid-1950s but it may have been classified much earlier.
The road starts at a roundabout on the A404 to the south of Welwyn Garden City and heads southeastwards across the fields. We pass a few buildings, well hidden behind hedges, and then go over the River Lea, ending on the far side at a T-junction on the B158.
