The B2010 was a short urban B-road running parallel to the A2 Chatham High Street. It started and ended on the A2 and followed New Road between its two end points.
The road was an important route from the start as it avoided the very centre of Chatham. It is therefore not surprising that the B2010 was upgraded to Class I status in the 1920s. It is now the mainline of the A2.
