Blendon Road, Bexley, at the corner of Blendon Drive
The B2210 is a short link road in Bexley. The road was originally part of the A210 but gained its present number in the early 1930s.
Starting at one of the roundabouts at the Danson Interchange the road heads vaguely southeastwards along the residential Blendon Road. We cross the valley of the narrow River Shuttle and then climb into Old Bexley where we pass a recreation ground, after which the A222 comes in from the right by the war memorial, TOTSOs and takes on the road ahead.
When originally classified the B2210 multiplexed through the centre of Old Bexley before regaining its number on the far side of town. It continued east through Coldblow to end on the old A2 Rochester Way, now bypassed, on Dartford Heath. When the A2 was given its current route the B2210 was cut back and then renumbered as the A2018, leaving the section surviving today.
