The B226 is a short B-road in southeast London. The road was originally unclassified but had gained its present number by the mid-1940s.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A2212 just by Grove Park station. It heads east along the dead-straight Chinbrook Road and climbs gently to traffic lights where it bears slightly left into Grove Park Road. We continue on to a recreation ground where there is another left-hand bend and the road now makes a detour to the north to reach Mottingham.
We go across two roundabouts and then head southeastwards along Mottingham Road, which has shops on the left and houses on the right. It's not long before the B226 ends as the A208 comes in from the left and TOTSOs, forming the route ahead.
