The original B3034 ran along Park Road in Portsmouth from the original alignment of the A3 by the Guildhall to the B2154 St George's Road.
In 1935 the B3034 became an extension of the B2153. Today, following post-war development of Portsmouth City Centre, the road is unclassified. The easternmost section of the road has been severed by the new A3 and Civic Centre and is now called King Henry I Street.
