Route
While Devon County Council seem to regularly rearrange the roads around Kingsbridge, the most recent mapping suggests that this road is currently part of the A381 just north of Kingsbridge. The road ran from the A379 just to the east of Churchstow in a north easterly direction to the A381 (former B3197) near 'Courtlands'. This provided a link between the two routes without the lengthy detour into Kingsbridge.
