The B400 is a short B-road on the edge of the City of London.
The route is one-way northbound and called Chancery Lane for its entire length, thus associating the road with the legal profession: it starts near the Temple and Royal Courts of Justice and goes past Lincoln's Inn.
The road starts and ends at traffic lights, on the A4 and A40 respectively.
