The B4056 is a local route in suburban northern Bristol.
It starts on the A4018 (formerly B4055) Westbury Road on the northern edge of Durdham Down. It heads east for one block along Henleaze Road before turning left at a mini-roundabout, although it remains on Henleaze Road.
At the far end of Henleaze Road there is a short section of dual carriageway leading to a roundabout where the B4056 turns right. The road continues as S4 to the next roundabout before narrowing again. The road skirts Southmead Hospital before crossing a double mini-roundabout.
After passing Fonthill Park the B4056 bends to the right and ends at the Filton Roundabout with the A38 and A4174.
