The B4446 is one side of the triangle through the Berkshire village of Sonning. The road was originally unclassified but gained its number in the mid-1920s.
Starting on the A4 in the eastern suburbs of Reading the road heads north and soon appears rural, although actually it is running along a tree-lined road between sports fields. Presently Sonning is reached. There's a sharp right-hand bend onto Pearson Road and we continue through the village centre before a left-hand bend takes us to journey's end at a mini-roundabout on the B478.
