For the former B4485 in the east of Worcester, see B4485 (Wylds Lane).
The B4485 is a road in the St. John's area of Worcester. It was numbered A4103 for many years (although its original number was B4207), only gaining its present number on construction of the A4440 bypass.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A44 by St John-in-Bedwardine Church and heads south. The road's former importance is perhaps still emphasised by the sign at this point directing high vehicles along the B4485 to avoid the railway bridge on the A44. We turn right at the next set of lights (ahead is the B4206) and now head west along the residential Bransford Road.
After a few bends the road becomes more rural as it passes a golf course and then goes over a stream. The old A4103 then continued straight ahead but its route, still obvious as a through road, has now been severed by the A4440 so we bear left to end at a roundabout on that road.
