The B457 is described in the 1922 Road Lists as Link at Harrow (Roxeth).
It connected the A312 Lower Road with the A4005 London Road, along Roxeth Hill.
The road is now defunct. The A4005 has been rerouted along its entire length to bypass the centre of Harrow on the Hill.
