The B459 is described in the 1922 Road Lists as Loop at Harrow Weald.
It was a southerly loop off the A410 along Boxtree Road and Elms Road, crossing the A409 en route.
The road was still numbered B459 in the 1990s but has since been declassified. The A409 junction is now a LILO as that road is briefly dual at this point, meaning that the ex-B459 cannot be driven in full without a detour.
