The B4638 is a link road serving the eastern suburbs of Worcester. The road was built in the 2000s and was presumably classified from the outset.
The road starts at a roundabout on the B4636 opposite the Worcestershire Royal Hospital and heads north, skirting the suburb of Lyppard Grange. We follow what appears to be a New Town distributor: a winding road across several roundabouts, passing between rather than through housing estates. We meet the B4637 at one roundabout then end on the B4639 on the northern side of town, opposite a retail park.
