The B5103 is a short link road upriver from Llangollen.
It starts on the A5 in the hamlet of Berwyn, next to the station on the Llangollen Railway. To begin with it has to be seen to be believed and its length and height limits are well founded. Whilst descending steeply it runs in the gap between the A-road and the railway line, then turns sharply right to go under the line and station. It then immediately crosses the River Dee and Llangollen Canal before turning sharply right again. The road widens slightly but still remains essentially S1.
Having climbed slightly, the B5103 reaches a T-junction and TOTSOs right. Now largely flat and straight - but still narrow - the road follows the river downstream, reaching the canal again after a short distance. As the canal starts to widen the B5103 turns away and widens itself, just in time to end at a T-junction on the A542.
