The B5294 is a short link road in west Cumberland.
It starts on the B5295 in the Whinney Hill area of Cleator Moor. It heads northeast out of town along Bowthorn Road. Although the foothills of the Lake District can be seen in the distance the B5294 is relatively flat. It does climb slightly, however, and goes through a wood close to the road's summit. The road then descends into Frizington, where it passes the churchyard and ends at a T-junction on the A5086 (former B5293).
