The B578 is a short B-road in southern Leicestershire.
It starts on the B4669 (former B579) to the east of Hinckley and heads south along Hinckley Road through Burbage. After going over the M69 it reaches open country and continues south along Lutterworth Road to end at a T-junction on the A5 near Smockington.
Historically, this road was part of the Hinckley and Lutterworth Turnpike.
