This version of the B6374 is a link to Ripley in Derbyshire. The road was originally unclassified but gained its number by 1928.
Starting in Heage, at a junction where the northbound B6013 TOTSOs left, the road heads eastward along Eagle Street, which becomes Ripley Road. On leaving the village the speed limit rises to 40 mph (and stays at this level until the outskirts of Ripley are reached, a mile further on).
After passing Upper Hartsay the B6374 crosses a bridge over the A38 and for the rest of the way we follow Heage Road before our route ends at a meeting with the B6441 just west of Ripley town centre.
