The B70 is a short route serving Gorey village to the south of the picturesque Gorey Harbour. The village centre has a collection of shops to serve the locals, whilst at the harbour are gift shops, cafes and hotels for the many visitors. The route is almost entirely one way, in such a way that you can't drive it all at once.
Starting at the southern end, the B70 is one way out of the village. The junction is a fork around the pretty village green, with the A3, the B70 heading north west, slowly diverging from the main road. In the centre of the village, among the shops, the road switches direction, with Beach Road providing an inbound link from the main road. Continuing north west, the road turns a little to the right and starts climbing up between in walls, winding up to meet the B30 above the harbour.
