The B85 follows the one-way Dicq Road south west from a signalised junction on the A3 to meet the A15 immediately north of the mini roundabout junction with the A4, indeed most traffic continues to the roundabout, no only because a right turn from Dicq road is a effective U turn, but because it is a sharp turn with limited visibility. Along the way, Dicq Road connects with three side streets, but all are one way, feeding in to Dicq Road, so the only route from the east end of the B85 is to continue to its western end.
