The B9 is a short B-road in west County Down.
The road starts on the A26 to the west of Donaghcloney. It heads east to cross the River Lagan before running north through the village along Main Street. The road continues parallel to the river - which is rarely visible - to reach the B2.
Originally the B9 ended here but it was extended in the late 1920s. The B2 is therefore crossed at a staggered crossroads and the B9 continues north. After crossing the River Lagan again the road reaches Magheralin. It climbs through town to end at a T-junction on the A3.
