Highways Management
The Council is responsible for the maintenance of all roads and associated footways in the Borough that are not managed by the Highways Agency. This also includes, bridges, structures, signal controlled junctions, controlled crossings, road markings, 2,000 illuminated traffic signs, traffic signs and over 30,000 street lights.
