Basin View Roundabout lies to the north west of Montrose town centre, and marks the eastern end of the A935. It is a simple three-arm roundabout, with the A92 turning from south to north east along Basin View, while the A935 heads north on Medicine Well Drive. Each approach has two turning lanes, and the roundabout has two (unlined) circulatory lanes. The junction was built as part of the town centre relief road to take through traffic out of the historic market square. This also saw the construction of Medicine Well Road, diverting the A935 to a more southerly junction with the A92.
