The Blackgrange Roundabout is part of what was the long-awaited Stirling-Alloa road upgrade, which saw a new road constructed immediately to the north of the old route. For several years, a section of the new road to the west of here was completed but disconnected at either end, although it is now in use as the A907, and the old road reduced to a cycle route.
The roundabout is a simple 4-arm junction and its main purpose is to provide access to the large complex of Bonded Warehouses to the south. The northern arm is Gogar Loan, a single track farm lane which connects across to the A91 near Menstrie, whilst the A907 passes through from west to east.
